MEET THE DESIGNERS: ERIN FLETT
Erin Flett is about bold, imperfect and organic shapes and elements that are collaged together for her unique hand drawn eclectic style. Erin is a wife, mother of two little girls with a passion for funky vintage finds and living and breathing design. She has won numerous design awards and published in a variety of design books, magazines and blogs featuring her distinctive hand. |

In the last 2.5 years her products have been sold in interior design studio shops as well as eclectic high end home and children’s boutiques in UK, Hong Kong, France, Australia as well as select national shops around the US. She was also featured 3 times and named TOP TEN Textile Designers to watch from Apartment Therapy.
Erin is a passionate, prolific graphic artists that in the last two years focused on creating her own line of hand screened textiles out of her Maine studio. Her line includes; pillows, bags, wall art, limited edition paper products and is currently planning launching a line of bedding in January 2013. (All fabric + Materials (like zippers) are sourced / woven in the USA.
Erin Believes designing, manufacturing and selling her own designs and products ensures her ability to over see all aspects of design, quality and craft in each product.
Erin’s graphic vision is to continue to create a highly designed and crafted home goods that are affordable and fun that encompass all the subtle fine details that make her unique hand drawn collaged graphic patterns so sought after and collected. Her soulful and fun designs bring joy and dimension with a traditional / modern edge and new breathe in the world of textiles. Her work makes you smile, ponder and gives your space new life and style.
EVERY STEP HAS A STORY:
Every pillow is hand screened in the studio in Gorham, Maine, onto one of two choices of FABRICS WOVEN IN THE USA: Natural colored 100% cotton BARK CLOTH or an OATMEAL RECYCLED POLY COTTON TWILL. The recycled poly cotton fabric utilizes fibers and yarns, largely made from clear plastic water bottles that have been recovered from our environment after at least one consumer use cycle. All yarns are 100% post-consumer recycled polyester and are SCS certified.
All prints are hand screened with eco-minded water based inks with a super soft hand. Every pillow is generously stuffed with a hypo-allergenic faux down insert made for us by a family owned pillow company in Florida.
Each pillow is one-of-a-kind, stitched together, pressed, and mindfully packaged with a funky cool letter-pressed hang tag printed with a Chandler & Price printing press by Mark Dunstan, Mainer, charming story teller, and a lover of metal type and all things less manufactured, on recycled chip board. Each tag tells our story, and the back can be used as a customizable gift tag.
